We chose ginseng, a key ingredient in Beauty of Joseon (BOJ) and Hanbang formulations, supported by numerous studies highlighting its effectiveness. Ginseng extract, rich in saponins, provides anti-aging effects, helps improve wrinkles, and nourishes the skin.

2. According to the Donguibogam, a Korean herbal medicine book, ginseng was used as an essential oriental medicine. Ginseng extract, rich in saponins, helps quickly hydrate the skin and maintain moisture deep within, supporting skin health. Red ginseng berries and extracts, which have higher saponin content than regular ginseng, are more effective for anti-aging and improving wrinkles.
